SLAB: Semi-automatic Series in Slab

The Pick Up model is a vacuum thermoforming line for universal shaping of thermoplastic sheets. The sheet is automatically introduced using a pick up system and the thermoformed parts are automatically unloaded at the bottom of the line. In fact there is no need for any manipulation by the operator but only the management of the unloaded pieces.

• Loading station: a very efficient intelligent two-station pallet support system allows vacuum cups gripping even from pallets that are not perfectly tapered and automatic pallet change once the first one is finished.
• Index advance device using chains and grippers, which allows the transport of sheets from 1 to 11 mm thick without any adjustment.
• Double-sided sheet heating with infrared rays thanks to ceramic resistors (optional also other types), with maximum efficiency and minimum energy consumption. The individual heating element regulation is extraordinarily precise, through the use of a interactive video which also allows memorizing the settings and working diagnostics.
• Optical pyrometer system to control the heating and cooling temperatures.
• Servo motor and ball screw drive, or pneumatic/hydraulic to facilitate the uniform stretching of the material.
• Clamping with servomotor, pneumatic or hydraulic movement system.
• Plug Assit (Third motion) with servomotor, pneumatic or hydraulic movement system.
• Servo controlled valves on request for vacuum , demoulding, pre-blowing, slab holding available.
• Material cooling with fans with the possibility of using water spray (available) to speed up cooling.
• Mold fast locking(optional).
• Control panel managed by interactive screen: elimination of levers and buttons, total control and safety.
• Remote diagnostics via the Internet: thanks to the possibility of communicating directly from a distance with the system, O.M.G. technicians are always at the customer's side in managing the system.
