Elektra series: FDC-M e DDC-M thermoforming machines models
These models of automatic thermoforming machines are ideal for the production of medium/high volumes. They exploit all the advantages of electric motion, enclosing several unique and innovative features. The particularity of these models lies in the trim, which can be carried out directly in the mould, guaranteeing maximum precision in relation to material shrinkage. They can be supplied in two configurations as a FDC model or as a DDC model; while the FDC has only one press and the piece is formed and trimmed in the mould, the DDC is equipped with two presses which give the double possibility of working either with shape and trim in the mold or with shape and then cut in the following press (same philosophy of RVE-PVE models see the relevant section).
The advantages
- Electric system with servomotors: greater reliability, high productivity, constant speed, superior quality of the thermoformed, height of the molds adjustable at will.
- Energy saving (-60%).
- Practical vacuum/forming air reversibility.
- Toggles handling systems.
- Stack up or down on the same stock device.
- Robot with vacuum cups and additional modules for difficult stacking.
- Mold quick locking.
The peculiarities
- Self-loading reel holder for quick and easy loading.
- Film index by pins chains moved by servomotor. Possibility of working with silk-screened materials with offset advancement.
- Preheating gripper system that ensures the translation of even the hardest and/or thickest materials.
- Single resistance heating, optimizing heat distribution with integrated diagnostics.
- Forming press with two independent mobile planes and four columns, moved by servomotors. The forming press is equipped with plug assists moved by servomotors which allow an optimal distribution of the material. This press can be used only to form the part or to form and cut in the mold.
- Die-cutting (in the DDC model) with a four-column press and two mobile platens moved by toogles pads and servomotors.
- Stacking of shots either up or down, allowing for stacking on a shelf or conveyor. "A & B" cross can be supplied directly in the stacker.
- Vacuum cups robot with the possibility of "A & B" crossing.
- Horizontal stacking module for round or complicated parts directly on the shelf or in bags.
- Presses positions using motorized actuators.
- Automatic friction winder with constant tension and pneumatic extraction of the scrap.
- Scrap grinder which can be supplied in line with the machine.
- Punch die cutting presses available in all configurations: both in-line for obtaining holes or slots or off-machine with shearing and stacking integrated vertically or horizontally.
- Rolls preheater recommended for materials such as polypropylene.
- In-line extruder available so that the material is introduced directly into the thermoformer.
- In-line labeling(optional) by type with adhesive or cardboard glued on the thermoforms.
- Cycle management through an interactive industrial screen which facilitates the operator to adjust and memorize the working parameters.
- Telediagnostics via Internet: thanks to the possibility of directly communicating with the system at a distance, O.M.G. technicians always at the customer's side in managing the system.
